To show appreciation to the Charles Ellis Montessori teachers and staff by recognizing their talents, rewarding their accomplishments and honoring their dedication to our students. Simply stated, we want to put a smile on their face and make them proud to be a part of Charles Ellis Montessori Academy.

 

Hello, I'm Jennifer Huskey, the PTA Teacher Appreciation Chair and mom to a 3rd grader at Charles Ellis Montessori. By heading up this committee, I wanted to show my support to the teachers at this amazing public Montessori school. We are so fortunate to be a part of this school and I hope you'll take time this year to help me recognize the talented teachers and staff that make Charles Ellis such a special place for our children. There are so many ways to help out, whether you have an hour or two to help out at school, or make crafty gifts and homemade treats at home. --Provide yummy coffee/creamers/pastries/muffins each month

--Recognize teachers and staff for birthdays, special events and professional accomplishments

--Establish a giving tree to reside in the front lobby that changes seasonally

--Provide holiday gift bags with homemade gifts and treats

--Recognize one or two teachers each month with a "bravo board" in front entrance

--Host an end-of-year teacher appreciation luncheon
